Class of 2024 Induction

The St. Clair County Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024 was inducted May 18, during the 20^th annual banquet held at the Moody Civic Center.

Those inducted included, seated from left, Countess Woody Carswell, Gene Ellison, and Terri Duckworth Dicino. Standing, from left, are Dennis Ruple, Tommy Toles, James "Monte" Montgomery, and Mark Sanders.

2024 Scholarship Recipients

The winner of the inaugural McLendon Home Solutions Scholarship is Walker Griffith of Ashville High School.

Welcome to St. Clair County Sports Hall of Fame

St. Clair County, Alabama has a rich sports history, with a new chapter written each year. Our high schools turn out athletes, coaches, officials, mentors, and media journalists every year. Each January, The St. Clair County Sports Hall of Fame honors these with a new induction class of worthy men and women who, in their lifetime, have upheld our legacy of courage, leadership, growth, mentorship, and giving back. We also award scholarships in order to assist athletes entering college to fully reach their potential in life.
